The Whatamission Team has discovered another great opportunity for changemakers with itchy feet. Are you a young entrepreneur, social activist or changemaker? Are you keen to meet like-minded people from your corner of the world and get inspired? Do you want to get involved in co-creation and learn more about practicing holistic well-being?

Then the Changemakerxchange is just what you were looking for!

Ashoka and the Robert Bosch Stiftung came together in 2012 to build a platform for young change makers. Their organised retreats foster global communities of innovators that strive to create social impact through peer-to-peer knowledge exchange, common experiences and the sharing of passions and challenges.

The event comes to life through its unique mix of inspirational people, a dynamic and participant-led agenda and the concept of ‘placemaking’ – the idea that special places foster special experiences and inspirations.

Until now this amazing event of cross-border collaboration has brought together 250 changemakers from 65 different countries and reached over 100,000 people.

The mix of people participating offers a stimulating environment for inspiration. People are as diverse as their ideas. Andrea from Italy is bringing the startup culture to high school and colleges with his Startup Super SchoolActive Asul, an initiative brought into life by Ruth, fosters integration of refugees and asylum seekers through computer classes. Victims of gender-based violence are empowered through the MamyGlos initiative, founded by changemaker Sylwia. As long as you have previous experience in leading, co-leading or initiating social impact ventures within or outside of an institution you will fit right in.
