Team

Whatamission was started by Melanie Akerboom back in 2014. Vanessa Faloye joined her as a regular guest blogger in 2017. Since 2018, she is part of the core team and the second main face behind Whatamission.

What combines us is a passion for social entrepreneurship and social innovation, a passion for research and writing, and a broad international experience within the sector. We write about inspiring change-makers from all around the world with focus on the social entrepreneurship scenes in England, Germany and South Africa.

We currently run Whatamission on a purely voluntarily basis and both work as independent freelancers. You can book us as trainer/facilitator for workshops or seminars.
