Social change designers looking to bring together different worlds to create 1000 social enterprises in hard to reach places. Their pilot took place in Eldoret, Western Kenya with the aim to test whether human-centred design and social enterprise training could prove viable for long-term sustainability and social impact in developing countries. _SocialStarters believe that it’s through social entrepreneurship training that some of the world’s most pressing challenges can have solutions found for them. By now, _SocialStarters runs various programmes for career breakers and career changers (i.e. skilled professionals, freelancers, aspiring social changers) in developing countries such as India, Brasil, Sri Lanka and the Philippines.
