Ampion enables entrepreneurs to launch businesses in Africa and use technology for innovation. They empower entrepreneurial minds to become successful changemakers in their communities and boost private sector growth for development.
The heart of Ampion’s operations begins with 7-day innovation bootcamps, which take place on the Ampion Venture Buses across 14 African countries. Each Venture Bus is lead by Ampion trained staff, who are accompanied by both expert international experts and mentors. In addition to the Venture Bus and in partnership with Microsoft, Ampion offers an extensive Incubation Program along with mentoring and advisory services.
The Ampion Fellowship, is an international program designed to guide and equip the most promising startups from the AMPION Venture Bus as well as other high potential startups across Africa and prepare them for growth. By bringing together a diverse, experienced and dedicated team of seasoned entrepreneurs, the Fellowship challenges young startups to complete a successful launch of a concept through the provision of structured training courses, mentorship and access to a global investor and advisory network.

hub:raum connects the digital startup ecosystem with Deutsche Telekom, linking tech entrepreneurs and high growth startup companies with the expert network, capital, and business opportunities of Deutsche Telekom.
hub:raum offers various programs in three locations: Berlin (covering Germany and Western Europe), Krakow (serving CEE region), and Tel Aviv (Israel). Various programs range from acceleration and incubation (including seed investments) to special formats like Fit4Europe. All of these offer benefits like co-working space, mentoring, networking events and connections to Deutsche Telekom business units like partnering as well as access to customers.
Reconstructed Living Lab (RLabs) is a global movement and registered Social Enterprise that provides innovative solutions to address various complex problems. It was founded by Marlon Parker in 2008 as an environment for community driven innovation and reconstruction. RLabs creates an environment where people are empowered to make a difference in the lives of others. The RLabs “main hub” is in Athlone, Cape Town but have activity in the United Kingdom, Europe, Asia, South America and Africa.
Its core activities are skills and training, community development, social and disruptive innovation, mobile and internet solutions, social enterprise incubation, impact investing and social franchising.
Riversands Incubation Hub is a large-scale business incubator established in 2015 through a partnership between Century Property Developments and The Jobs Fund.
At full capacity, the Hub will be home to 150 small businesses with many more entrepreneurs supported through business development and support services offered.
The Hub is located at the centre of the Riversands Commercial Park. The primary intention of the incubator is to create a strong, enabling ecosystem which fosters the development of high-potential enterprises.
The not-for-profit company Social Impact gGmbH was founded in 1994 and develops products and services geared towards securing the future and balance of our society. Since 2012,Social Impact gGmbH has been focusing on developing infrastructure that promotes social innovations.
The creation of Social Impact Labs is one of its key projects. So far, these start-up and networking centres which are aimed at specific target groups exist in Berlin, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Leipzig, Potsdam and Duisburg.
The centres offer start-up programmes enabling new social enterprises to transform their ideas into viable business models with intensive and qualified assistance. Over the last four years, more than 1600 applications have been received for these programmes. In the same period, some 200 start-up businesses and teams have been selected and received start-up assistance.
Spark* International is the impact arm of YGAP. Spark* International is finding and supporting local startups that change lives across Africa, Asia and Australia. Since 2011 they have supported over 260 entrepreneurs in 5 countries. Impact entreprenuers in the early startup phase can apply for a one week accelerator progamme where their business models are strengthened and they are equipped with the tools they need to turn their startups into viable ventures.
