Ashoka is the largest network of social entrepreneurs worldwide, with nearly 3,000 Ashoka Fellows in 70 countries putting their system changing ideas into practice on a global scale. Founded by Bill Drayton in 1980, Ashoka has provided start-up financing, professional support services, and connections to a global network across the business and social sectors, and a platform for people dedicated to changing the world. Ashoka launched the field of social entrepreneurship and has activated multi-sector partners across the world who increasingly look to entrepreneurial talent and new ideas to solve social problems.
MakeSense is not an organization like others. It’s an open project built by a worldwide community. Until today, 10 000 Sense-Makers across the globe have built MakeSense all around the world by launching new cities, finding new social entrepreneurs, structuring partnerships and creating new tools! Their main objective is to boost the impact of social entrepreneurs by connecting them with individuals and who support those social entrepreneurs with their challenges. And in order to sustain their social impact, they promote the concept of social business.

The Tunisian Center for Social Entrepreneurship is the first big step toward unlocking social innovation and developing social entrepreneurship in Tunisia, with four major areas of focus:
Educating about social needs and innovations/ promoting social entrepreneurship
Identifying and incubating social innovation in Tunisia
Advocating for a better legislation to encourage such initiatives
Strengthen exposure to international social entrepreneurship networks, funds and investors

The Impact Hub is designed to facilitate the creation of sustainable impact through collaboration. The Impact Hub Berlin is an innovation and founding center for social and sustainable entrepreneurs. They host different types of events from panels to meet ups and workshops. Some events are public, some specially designed for their community (flexible membership opportunities). Office co-working space offers over 100 square meters to connect, work and experiment.
Ice Cairo is a technology innovation hub, which aims at accelerating Egypt’s economic growth by promoting market-driven and environmentally viable innovations.
It is part of the emerging ice (innovation – collaboration – entrepreneurship) network of technology innovation hubs, currently implemented in Ethiopia, Egypt and Germany. Like its sister-hubs, icecairo provides shared workspace, training and networking opportunities.
