What a great time for (aspiring) social entrepreneurs and young changemakers! More and more startup support programmes are offered that help to develop social enterprising ideas or projects. Here you find a brief overview of programmes currently in the application phase.
Anders Gründer – Frankfurt, Germany
Anders Gründer is a scholarship programme for people who want to turn their social innovative idea to solve a social problem into social enterprise. The Social Impact Lab Frankfurt is looking for new teams to join the programme. Awarded fellows are supported over a period of up to 8 months including coaching, workshops, expert advise, mentoring, networking events, access to their network and a co-working space in Frankfurt. Anders Gründer is a project of Social Impact and is supported by the KfW Stiftung.
Good to know: German as well as english speakers, independent of age, can apply for this scholarship programme. The programme is also offered in the Social Impact Lab Duisburg.

Programm Engagement mit Perspektive (PEP) – Berlin, Germany
Ashoka, together with Malteser Deutschland, is looking for 20 young changemakers from 10 projects that want to develop their project to the next level. Selected teams will receive trainings and coaching and access to Ashoka’s network.
Good to know: The programme is open for young people aged between 16-27. Teams from the fields education, health, migration, youth, medicine and care who have successfully piloted their project can apply.

Startery Central and Eastern Europe
You want to solve a social problem and have for an innovative approach? You are looking for support in developing your idea or in the further development of an existing non-profit organization? Then this programme might be for you: 25 selected social startups (1 representative per social startup) have the possibility of participating in an innovative 4-day training program for social entrepreneurs in Warsaw, Poland.
Participants will get an introduction to Design Thinking and the Business Model Generation and develop their social business concepts. The training will take place from 06.11.-10.11.2016. The programme is offered by Social Impact and SAP.
Good to know: Travel costs (max. 300€) and accommodation expenses covered. Residents & citizens of the following countries can apply: Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia.

Ankommer. Perspektive Deutschland
The Programme ‘Ankommer. Perspektive Deutschland’ is another programme offered by Social Impact and the KfW Stiftung. It addresses (socially) entrepreneurial and community-minded individuals who are trying to improve the social and economic participation of refugees i.e. by improving access to education, vocational training and jobs.
Good to know: German as well as english speakers, independent of age, can apply for this scholarship programme. The programme is offered in the Social Impact Lab in Berlin, Hamburg, Leipzig, Frankfurt and Duisburg.

On Purpose Associate Programme – Berlin, Germany
On Purpose is currently looking for high qualified associates for their one year leadership programme in Berlin. Associates should have at least two years of professional work experience and should be interested to use their skills to solve social problems. Associates will be placed in two social or ecological organisations (6 months each, compensated) and receive trainings, coachings, mentoring and get access to their network.
